Register your bike even if its never going on the road - here's why

We recommend that your bike (or any other vehicle for that matter) is registered so it has a registration number, an identity, so if its ever stolen or if there is any argument over ownership or whatever there is a record of it, a proper official record.

If you have not come across the DVLA INF85 service before it does exactly that, it gives your machine a registration number, its free and puts a permanent record of it with it identifying marks on the official DVLA database. It doesn't mean you have to tax and insure it or anything it just gives it a registration number making easier for police (and others) to identify it and its owner. Click here for full details.
